Relaxing Creekside

Once again the Mountain Car Cruise was a great success.  The weather even held out for the weekend.  Broncs and Bulls is this weekend and should be great fun.  The Halfway Loop Road is open this year so get on the road and visit Joseph  and then take the scenic loop through Halfway to Baker City!

With the unpredictable weather of spring clearly upon us, we are anxious to really start getting out to recreate.  Morels are being found in the lower elevations and wildflowers are in bloom.  Of course, Wallowa Lake has been seeing its share of boats with the fishermen attempting to break Kokanee records again! 

Memorial Day weekend is approaching quickly.  The local high schools will be graduating their seniors on the 28th - best of luck to you all.

We had a great 4th of July weekend here.  I especially enjoyed the two dogs, Biz and Louie, visiting Creekside. The fireworks at the lake was awesome, as usual.  Thank you to Don and Amy for sharing the great picture of Biz in Joseph.  I won't tell your secret; good shooting. 

The weather has finally made the change to summer - now is the time to come out to Joseph and enjoy the area.
