Jacob Steiger may work in the medical field, but he has a dream for seeing more of the world. Thankfully, such work helps support such play, and so he spends his free time roaming freely across this beautiful world that we all inhabit. This puts him in a cycle of helping people live so that he can then love the world. It is a rewarding balance, if sometimes an exhausting one, but not something he would change for the world.
Jacob’s love of travel came from a young age, when his family would take vacations around the world. He was used to waking up early in the morning to be told to pack some things before heading to the airport. It was exciting, and thrilling. Nowadays the trips are more planned, but even so that thrill when stepping into the airport never goes away. He found, however, that many of his coworkers wouldn’t know how to begin getting these things sorted out, and would skip out on travelling when on vacation because of this. It was a sad thing to see, and so he wondered if, perhaps, there was something he could do to make it seem less daunting.
Hence why he made the blog. Or, rather, repurposed it. You see, this used to be a blog he helped set up for a friend to report on their local area, but it had sat defunct for some time. So he asked if he could take the name and domain, and after agreeing it was changed into the website you see today. Now Jacob posts regularly about the thing he cares for the most: Travelling.
Join him as he explains the ins and outs of travel, from countries and locations to visit to how to arrange and plan such events. The topics may vary from time to time, but life is about travel for Jacob, and he hopes it will be for you too.
